The attorneys of the firm are German patent attorneys who are members of
the German Chamber of Patent Attorneys
(http://patentanwaltskammer.de).
Furthermore, they are also professional representatives before the European
Patent Office (European Patent Attorneys) belonging to the epi (Institute of
Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office).
The professional rules of the German patent attorneys of the
Patentanwaltsordnung (BGBI. I 1966, p. 557, last amended by BGBI. I 2001,
p. 3656) as well as the professional rules of the patent attorneys, published in
the Mitteilungen der Patentanwälte 2014, p. 53 et seq. shall apply. As far as
the professional rules of professional representatives admitted before the
European Patent Office are concerned, reference is made to the Code of
Professional Conduct of the epi (epi-Information 2/2001, p. 75). In addition,
the FICPI Code of Professional Conduct (ficpi.org) applies.
